No-Retention means we don't hold onto your private information. While your Life Manual is being built, what you share sits in a secure portal that only you and Craig can see, and we never store passwords or credentials. Your documents live in your own Secure Drive. We help organize the structure. You control what goes in, where it lives, and who can access it. This standard covers your Life Manual and planning information. Conversations with Elara, the assistant on our website, are handled separately and described below.
Life Manual information submitted through the client portal is processed temporarily during your active engagement and the 72-hour post-handoff review period. It is then purged from the portal. This timing applies to Life Manual project information, not to website assistant chats or other categories described separately in this policy. After that, your delivered Life Manual is the only copy in existence, and it belongs entirely to you.
When you complete assessments or engage our services, you may provide details related to family, contacts, household, property, digital accounts, insurance, healthcare preferences, personal wishes, and business continuity. You control what you provide. Please provide only what's necessary for your requested service.
When you chat with Elara, the assistant on our website, we save the text of your questions and Elara's replies, along with a random visitor ID, the page you were on, and the time. Elara chats are kept for up to 3 months and then deleted automatically. This is separate from your Life Manual, which follows the No-Retention Protocol. We use these conversations for research, development, and marketing, such as improving Elara's answers and learning what visitors want to know. Conversations aren't tied to your name unless you type it into the chat. Please don't share passwords, account numbers, or other sensitive details with Elara. To have your conversations deleted, contact us with roughly when you chatted and what you asked so we can find them. If you turn on Read aloud, the text of Elara's replies is sent to ElevenLabs, our voice provider, to turn it into speech. Your own messages aren't sent to them.
When you visit, we may collect technical data like IP address, browser type, pages visited, and referring sites through analytics and cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser settings.
To provide requested services, create your Life Manual, schedule conversations, communicate with you, process payments, and protect against fraud. We do not sell your personal information. We never use your Life Manual data for marketing, advertising, analytics, or profiling.
Our website may use cookies or similar technologies to remember preferences, analyze traffic, and understand how visitors use our site. You may disable cookies through your browser settings, though some features may not function properly if you do.
We may share information only when necessary to operate our business, including with trusted service providers such as website hosting, payment processors, scheduling platforms, email providers, analytics providers, and cloud storage providers. These providers are authorized to use information only as necessary to provide services to us. We may also disclose information when required by law, legal process, or court order, or to protect our rights, property, or safety, or to prevent fraud or abuse.
We provide organization, documentation, and continuity planning. We are not attorneys, financial professionals, tax professionals, insurance agents, or medical professionals. Our services don't replace advice from licensed professionals. You should consult appropriate licensed professionals regarding legal documents, financial decisions, medical decisions, taxes, and estate planning matters.
We protect your information with encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest (AES-256), cryptographically hashed passwords, and limited access. No system can be guaranteed completely secure, and providing information electronically carries inherent risk.
We retain information only as long as reasonably necessary to provide services, maintain business records, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Life Manual data submitted through our tools is permanently purged within 72 hours of delivery under our No-Retention Protocol. Elara conversations are kept for up to 3 months for research, development, and marketing, then deleted automatically. You can ask us to delete yours sooner at any time.
Depending on applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your information, and ask how your data is used. Requests can be submitted using the contact information below.
Our services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. The updated version will be posted on this website with a revised effective date.
